All;

I didn't see anything in prior posts...

The torque arm bushing on my T-5 is looking pretty sad, and needs to be replaced. Energy Suspension sells a urethane mount, which looks good, but I did have a question.

Will this mount noticeably increase harshness noise or vibration transmitted to the interior? Oftentimes, while urethane is an excellent material for bushings and mounts, the negative thing is they create a noticeable harshness/noise/vibration, since they're much firmer than the original rubber part.

Not a problem for this location.
Do it.

nothing wrong with ES poly mount. BUT,...i'd move the mount off the tailhousing before it cracks or breaks, if it's still there. JMO

I'm assuming you're talking about one of the mounts that attaches to the tunnel, rather than the tailshaft?

yes, that's what i meant.
there's a few different ways to get it off the tailhousing. tunnel mount, aftermarket crossmember, fabricate something, etc. might be worth looking into if your hard on it?

I'll think about that..I'm really not hard on it at all, but think the bushing is why I suddenly have wheel hop issues.

Re: Energy Suspension Urethane Torque Arm Bushing
i did the bushing after realizing my existing original was sad looking as well..happy i did it...althought the trans mount,..well, i went back to the rubber style...and the poly mount sits in toolbox..because of high speed vibrations into the cabin .....
