Guys, i was thinking about playing arround with my timing a little bit to see if I can get a little bit more out of my L03. Any suggestions as to what to try out vs. the stock timing? Just for reference the car is fairly stock with the exception of headders, cat & y-pipe, underdrive, wires, pullies, ac & smog delete, and some work on the airfilter (home made dual snorkel), any suggestions.

Thanks

stock is 0 degrees, try 4-6 degrees of initial advance and see how it feels. soem cars can take a little mroe than that, but that should be a good start. remeber to run good gas ALL the time if you plan to run more timing.

I got by with 7* advanced with no pinging on 92 or 93 octane. Woke the engine up quite a bit, too. Along with the ultimate tbi mods I picked up .4 in the 1320 boogie. Remember to unplug the brown weather pack connection by the heater box before you bump the timing.
