It works but its a temporary fix.

It'll eventually start to fog up the window in the morning (and that stuff doesn't just wipe off!!) and leave puddles on the floor.

BZ,

I've never had much luck with Bars Leaks, Solder Seal, Silver Seal, or ANY of the leak-stopping additives. For about $20.00 you can get a replacement heater core and solve the problem effectively and "permanenetly".

I used Bars Leak to stop pin hole in radiator, worked great on pinhole but blocked heater core. Ended up replacing rad. & heater core.

I'm with IROCZ on this one. Years ago, I too used Bar's Leak on a pin hole in my rad. I did work until I had my coolant system flushed a year later. I proceed to add more Bar's leak, but this time is clogged my coolant system and I had to change both my rad and block heater. Moral of the story, save a few pennies now and pay big time later. Do as Vader said.
