Anybody else rolling around on these tires? I got a set of them a few months ago and they sure seem to have alot of road noise. Anybody want to agree or disagree? They're supposed to be low road noise tires - BFG's claim, anyways...

Are the Radial T/A's the same as the Comp T/A's? Well if so then I don't hear anything. Seem's pretty quite. I don't like these tires though. Their okay on the handling side. But kinda ****ty on the dragstrip.

radial t/a's with the white letters right? i have them and have not found them noisy, but they don't grip very well so i plan to change out at some point

I ve got BFG Comp t/a on the back and they rock. Great grip and handling and very little noise

I have a set of the Radial T/A's on my Z-28 and they suck in the rain! As for Road noise, they make more noise than the set of Eagle's that were on the car when I got it.
The original tires were 215/65/15's but the new Radial T/A's are 235/60/15's, they fit on the rims just fine and they look much, much better, plus they don't rub.
I had a set of Comp T/A's on my mustang and I liked them a lot more then the Radial T/A's.
From what I have seen the new G-Force T/A's are a great tire, but cost a lot.

Yes, i agree with everyone of yall's problems with these tires. Esp. the wet traction, but they seem to grip pretty god tho, maybe thats b/c i have an lg4

They're the same as the white letter ones, but that size doesn't have the white letters. Anyways, I just figured since they're supposed to be "high mileage" tires, they must be a hard compound and that's why all the noise. It's only going straight, when I go into a turn, changing lanes or dodging road hazards, noise will subside til I straighten out again. It's just a strange thing...

How are the bearings in your car? They can make a rumble that will come and go when turning. Front bearing should be repacked every 40000 miles for max life. The rear bearing just wear out after a while-I got 110000 miles out of mine. The radial TA's I used to have were very quite. I hated them for traction--they turn to grease when they get hot.

I thought about that, too - just haven't checked 'em yet. I replaced my brakes, rotors and bearings not too long ago, but I've seen things fail quickly before, too. Last time the bearing housing was cracked. Guess I shoulda' took the time to check 'em yesterday when I was doing other stuff! I'll do it this weekend, I guess. It does seem odd that just a different tire would produce that much difference in road noise.

Hey 82Camaro I was wondering what that feeling was. Is it like when you turn and accelerate at the same time you feel some shaking in the foot pedal and the steering wheel? It only happens when making a right turn while accelerating. But only from a stop to go acceleration. It doesn't happen at any other time. Cause I checked all my suspension and steering. and they all seem to be fine. This happened after I jumped a curb.

It's hard to tell without driving it.
Since you feel it in the steering wheel, it's coming from the front end(suspension).
Upon accleration and turning right puts alot of pressure on the left front. So, I would start by looking closely at the left front. Anything loose on the suspension could cause a funny shake at low speeds and disappear at high speeds.

i have the comp t/a zr's 255/50 zr16 and they have awesome grip and no noise at all they are awesome tires i love them but they are wearing out fast

I also have BFG Radial T/a's ... the reason I got 'em was because 90% of the cars that I see in Hot Rod Mag have 'em. And with those high-dollar cars, i figure they aren't putting cheap tires on. Like Jester, I have 275's on the back. The tires aren't more noisy than my motor or exhaust or stereo, if that's what you want to know

Im on my second set on this car and had the Radial T/A's on another car, never had any road noise out of them I replaced a set of firestone's that wouldnt get any traction at all, now i have 245 50 15's on the rear and 235 on front.
