What would all this do?

How much horsepower/torque would you need to make the front of a Thirdgen come off the ground?

How much power would you need to at least make the front suspension almost fully unloaded but the tires not come off the ground?

I'm getting ready to start building a Vortec ZZ4 TPI; hopefully it will have 360HP and 420ft/lbs of torque, well at the crank. Will this bring the front suspension up a bunch or what? I'm also going to get a new rear end gear set so I have a better ratio to take full advantage of the new torque ratings.

So what else would I need to do to this engine to make it do this? I'm already going to buy the SDPC Vortec TPI combo $1240, the used ZZ4 $650(all that’s wrong with it is defection piston rings, burns oil), engine rebuild kit $225, LT4 hot cam, and functional Ram Air.
For a grand total somewhere in the range of $3115

Max I able to spend on the entire setup is $5000; I want N/A too, this including the $3115. If you can recommend a 383 how many horsepower would that bring me up to do you think?

The thing is can Vortec 350 heads fit on a 383? I’m not porting so will they fit stock?
Here are 3 short blocks that I need reviewed and these are brand new stroker engines.

'68-'85 Chevy part #C383CE1 $1999.00
'86-'92 Chevy part #C383CE10 - uses one piece rear main seal $2099.00
'93-'98 Chevy part #C383CE12 Vortec $2199.00
Short block only C383SB1 (2 pc. rear seal) $1699.00
Short block only C83SB10 (1 pc. rear seal) $1799.00
Short block only C383SB12 (Vortec block) $1799.00

I’m thinking the 3rd one is best because it’s already got the Vortec heads and everything. All I will need to do is add the Vortec TPI base plate, and I’ll be rolling big powers right? Or am I wrong? Will a TPI manifold starve a 383 so much it’s not ever worth it? I want to keep the stock look when you look into the engine bay I want to see the TPI intake manifold. I just am worried about the power I am able to reach with it.

Please help me make a decision and tell me what I can do to totally trick this thing out.

It depends more on suspension than power really, but with the right suspension setup and some slicks I think 400hp would be enough (and short gears).

As far as 350 to 383 with the same heads, the 383 will make slightly more power across the rpm range and make more lowend. Vortec heads will fit on a 383, but they will need to be worked if they're stock and you want to use a cam with decent lift. They're good heads out of the box, so porting won't help a whole lot unless you go all out and reshape the port (port welding involved).

As far as which shortblock, I can't really say. Who's the manufacturer?

Stock TPI will restrict a 383 vortec motor, an aftermarket setup is reccomended. A miniram or something like that would be better. I'm not an expert on FI, so I can't really say. I prefer carbs.
