I can't figure out these rear wheels.

I'm still trying to adjust my Parking brake.

I have the rear end of my car on jackstands and the vehicle is in park.

Neither tire will turn forward (Clockwise) when i use my hands but when i turn the wheel in reverse (counter-clockwise) the opposite wheel turns forward. Why is that? And do the wheels not turn forward when I try to turn them because the car is in park?

Anyway, the reason I ask is because when I adjust the adjusting screw for the parking brake the wheel still spins, and if I release the parking brake it still locks, and it still feels tight (is that brake drag?) spinning in the reverse direction.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

(I have rear drum brakes on my '86 camaro)

Your wheels won't turn forward because you're in park. The one turns forward while the other is reversed because of your open differential (non posi). I would try putting it in neutral.
