Hey, I have a 88 305 tpi f code motor. When it gets to about 3500 rpms it cuts out (checked spark none when it cuts out) It will start right back up. I just took the smog pump off and put in new injectors in. Seamed like it started after this. It also sends out a code 42 est. what to try first???

That should be 3000-3500 rpm the spark cuts out. someone must have an idea!!

Sometimes when modules go they get flaky at certain RPMs. There is also the pick up inside the distributor (although when they go they are rarely RPM related). The ESC module or ECM itself might also be a problem here if you have a code 42.
