I got some oil stains on my pants from go-karting. How can I get them out? Just throwing them in the wash didn't help much.

Try some dish soap, then wash again. If that doesn't work, try brake cleaner.

those bleach pens for colored clothing should work, or pouring the tide directly onto the pants might work as well, but they'll never be 100% like new again.
