I was going to use 6AN fittings for my feed and return lines of my TPI and also on my power steering. Do I need to run 8AN for the larger lines and 6AN on the smaller or can I use 6AN across the board?

you can run -6, might not be a problem. you'd be way ahead to run -8 lines for the supply.
