ok, so the car is finally getting straightened out from the wreck six years ago... (t-boned, minivan, sad story) So the nitrous kit is gone, but the goal this time isnt ET, its a long distance cruiser that covers ground, and sips fuel. 2.73 gears? awesome.

Its basically a truck 350 motor, 194/203 .050 rv cam, 9:1 compression, TPI dual cat exhaust cruised at 110 at about 2800 rpms, light throttle as i recall

the truck motor in the light car feels mega torquey, and even in the mountains, the car barely notices hills, so as im about to dump 5 grand into making the old girl sparkle like new i ASK...

What kind of mileage are you guys getting with similar combos?
I have tuning equipment, and am looking to get the most cruise MPG possible. Anyone play with tuning to positive effect?

optimistically, im hoping for 15+ in town, and 25+ mpg at 70-80 (2000 rpm), even though i'll often cruise at 110-120 (3000 rpm)

in town i drive with a light foot,
am i in the neighborhood?
