Car has been sitting for 13 years. I want to put some grease on the mechanisms for the hood latch and trunk latch and the doors as well
For the doors I was going to use some canned fluid film. But wasnt sure on the trunk and hood latches. What is your go to for those?

I use 2 kinds, just like meals: plenty, and often.
Seriously, I use 75W-90 rear end grease in a Plews oil squirter on the hood hunges & latch. Silicone spray lube on the hatch latch.

I dont know if I want the gear lube smell lol. I still can smell it from the weekend I swapped 4 rear ends out trying out different gears in my 56 chevy with my Dad. And that was 20+ years ago
But I do like the silicone Idea.
Thanks Sir
