I was driving down the road the other night, and i saw this probe with crome wheels. i catch up to him and pass by him, he see's me and catches back up to me, then we get stopped side by side at a light. Well i got distracted at the light so he gets a little jump on me, so then i punch it and very easily catch back and beat him pretty bad, we raced up to about 60 and i already put about 3 cars on him. i not sure whether it was a 4 cylinder or V6. but if it wasnt a V6 then it was quik for a 4 cylinder.

If it was a GT, then it was a V6. A guy in my car club is a Ford Probe/Mazda MX6 guru, lol. And to me, the V6's aren't as quick as the owners think it is, lol. One of his friends has a GT and took it to the track and quickest time he could get out of t was mid 16's I think, but all he had was an intake and exhaust I think.

I think the MX-6's are lighter than the probe so they will be a little faster. Those things don't have much. I had a 4cyl probe and it was kind of quick for a 4, but it wasn't anything from any other view point. anyway nice kill.

Actually, the 89-92 GT's were 2.2 Turbos. One of those with a 5-speed and someone who knows what hes doing is a mid-15 second car. The 93-97's are V6's and run high 15's at best.

They've got like 164hp stock... Hell, the Quad4 HO had 180hp stock and they even weighed the same in cars on Avg.. The torque on the V6 is sometimes impressive but top end, they are lacking....
