woooo!!! Im happy. I saw a nice black 91 rs on my way too work . i passed him while he was turning onto a street and threw a couple revs at him. he then passed me up. i was on my way to work but i wanted to play so i followed. when we finally caught a light i was gonna tell him about some websites but we got a green. he counted down from 3 then we went. i took him off the line and held him off. I had him by like 1/2 a car. I was pretty happy because I know he is rated at like 20 more hp and more torque than my stock 84 Z. I know where he goes to school so I will probably leave him a little note. i was just suprised I took him. I would have though I would get beat. In the next week I plan to get an open element and 3 inch cat and catback so that should give me a nice gain.

That dual snorkel setup is a good setup. You'd probably see a decrease in power by switching to an open element. The air coming into the carb will be much hotter, and there wouldn't be enough volume difference to make up for it.

I agree, the dual snorkel setup is good. That is on my 83 though. Right now my 84 Z is bone stock. The open element should be better than the crappy stock aircleaner. Do you guys know how much of a drop base I will need to fit a 14x3 element under my stock hood?
