Alright, here's my motor specs:
355 cid
flattop hyp. pistons, orig. deck height, 76cc heads= 8.5:1 C/R? (not sure)
Crane Energizer .450/.450, 218 deg. @ .050
#487 iron heads, gasket matched, very minor chamber work
Performer Intake
Holley "Projection 4" 900cfm analog injection system-swap meet score!
Summit shorty headers
Dynomax 2.25" dual exh with Super Turbo mufflers
3.42 gears,
Stock TH350, new stock converter (B&M swap kit)
Above engine will be in a (formerly) 2.8 '86 Camaro
I'd be real happy with 14 flat, but I really have no idea what to expect.
Thanks for the help

Depending on the TC stall speed, I would say mid 13's easy.

i'd say u could get a 14 flat, but that compression ratio is gonna KILL you unless of course u put a power adder on

I was just going to say the same thing. Are planning for a s/c in the future?<font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">Originally posted by fly89gta:

Yeah, I know the C/R is gonna hurt my HP, but at the time, new heads weren't within budget limits. So far, the plan is to either stay "all motor" and go with nice alum. heads (smaller chambers), maybe even go 383, or else fog it with about a 75-100hp shot of happy gas and concentrate on suspension, handling type mods. I've been researching turbo stuff for awhile too, that possibility is always lurking in the back of my mind. Especially after I picked up the EFI system, which I was told I can upgrade to a full-on feedback system that is tuneable with a laptop. Thanks for the help, my main goal right now is to beat a certain Duster (built 318) from school, which has run a best of 14.7, he's convinced that he can walk on me. We'll see.

nah, dont worry about the C/R.
for every 1 point in c/r, you will only see like 10-15 ponies.
