Finally got my new torque converter in, as the old one had 2 stripped theads. I had to pull the motor and trans to do the swap. I got the motor back in with only minor issues, and went to finish up all the little stuff today. I went to put the distributor cap back on, and was trying to get the back drivers side one to clip back on the distributor. The oil pressure sending unit was in the way so I went to turn it, and the damn thing broke right off! I didn't even turn it hard at all. The threads of the sending unit are stuck in the block, so I'm going to have to use an e-z-out or maybe a phillips screwdriver if i'm lucky, to get them out. They broke inside the block so I can't even get at them with a pair of vice grips I've got an extra sending unit off my old 305, I just hope the it isn't too hard to get the broken bits out. I think when we dropped the motor back in that the sending unit hit the firewall, and cracked it. It broke way to easy.
