Well it's not super important. But I just need a very quick answer because I wanna figure out how to do this before the store closes.
OK, My question is you know the throttle body plates. There are 6 bolts holding them down. What kind of screwdriver unscrews the bolts. I don't have one at home, and I have alot. It's as if you need a security screwdriver to undo it. I noticed these bolts are on other parts of the car too, like the door pieces have them on (where the handles are on the inside, etc. etc.)
HOW THE HELL DO YOU UNSCREW THESE SCREWS?!?

It's a torx bit, I believe a T20 maybe the right size for that, but you should be able to buy the kit from CT with no problems.

Might be torqx if I'm not mistaken and if that's how you even spell it. Looks like a star with a lot of points on it.

Should be plain old torx heads... shouldn't be the tamper proof ones though, those are on the Fuel Pressure Regulator only.

On my 4th gen I have those torx tamper proof(with the little nib in the middle) all over my throttle body...most of the sensors. I just use vice grips Originally posted by nblanchard
