MSD - you can buy a 20' roll of wire for pretty cheap, just get the ends you want form them and voila perfect wires for your set-up.

I'm with 6speed, msd wires all the way!! All I have ever used. My old 8mm(MSD) wires sat up against my headers for a full season before I had to replace them(too short, I had put them in with stock manifolds at first).

I had Taylor, Accel and MSD on my GTA
MSD by far were best. i actually think taylors were awful, acels were alright.

ACCEL and MSD make more then one kind of wire..
they have the stock replacement ones (SUCK) and they have the real performance ones... anyone whos ever stuck a meter on theirs knows what they REALLY have....
pretty much all taylors are good from what im told.. i havent owned a set yet... i will be trying them soon though ive heard alot of good things.
my first ones were ACCELs... i was younger, and didnt know any better... i saw thick bright yellow "race" wires and thought they were better.. they arnt.
i would try the taylors or just get the MSD superconductors..
saying ACCEL or MSD wires is like saying Chevy or pontiac cars... theres more then one model, so some suck more then others.

I've had bad experiences with two sets of MSD's, surprisingly?
The swelled up on me, and a set on my dad's, I've had a couple sets of Accels 8.8, but they're so damn big for nothing, they ohm out at a higher resistance than a Niehoff per/foot. Dad's got a set of Taylors, they're nice, I'm gonna try a set, we'll see how it goes.

im surprised you the MSD's worked out so badly for you. Theyre great on my GTA, great on my 95 Formula and my brother has them on his 93, 383 Corvette and they were great on it as well.

My motor is a POS but I got Accel Race Wires - the black ones - because I needed something that day with 90* boots to clear the headers and they were on sale at crap tyre. Been on there two years w/out problems.
I went to Candian Tire & bought some off the shelf, 8mm Accel wires for $80.....
If you have a good strong ignition, you shouldn't need any 8.8mm wire......it's a marketing tool.
I used these 8mm wires while spraying NOS, never missed a beat.....

My dad's set of MSD swelled up on him. He took them back and got a set of Taylors instead. I bought a set of the MSD blue wires, ran them for a couple months, they swelled up on me too, but they would take them back cause i burnt a couple pretty bad, but even ones that weren't burn't swelled up. It'll look funny now caus eI'm running an MSD distributor, MSD 6AL, and not the MSD wires.

I've been using the MSD superconductor 8mm's.
They are super tough, haven't even come close to burning a wire with the headers. I like making my own wires with the 20' bulk spool and end kits. You can run then exactly where you want.

ok well judgeing by the reply it dont really matter what ones i get because u all say diffrent lol.. i need to get new wires only because i need the ones u cut your self so i can fit and run them all perfect in my looms. performance improvements is have a midnight madness sale and the taylors are going for cheap so i will get those if i can cut them my self, if not i am going to get the accel ones. i dont know about MSD because all of there stuff is alot of $ and i dont want to spend over 100$CAN. unless someone knows a place i can MSD wires that u cut yours self for under a bill.
thanks again for all the help!

You should be able to do MSD customs for under $100.
I get my stuff in Ottawa here at EZ parts trader from Trevor.
www.EZpartstrader.com ...good prices.
I think a 25' roll of superconductor is about $40, ends are about $4 or $5 per pair.

I got the taylor spiro pro 8mm wires for a second time now with no problems. I did ohm them out with a meter and found 3 that were way off spec before i even installed them...so I had those 3 changed for good ones... My buddy did that with his 8.8 accel's and 6 of them were trash and even the good ones had higher resistance than the taylors...
