There is a 1989 Iroc-Z 5 speed for sale, and I am wondering how much horse it has, yes i looked at the "tech data" but how do i know if its the 170, 190, or 220hp engine?
If its the lo3 or the lb9, how can i tell, thanks for your help.
Also what do these cars pull in the 1/4 if kept in good condition, im guessing with 220hp it should be high 14s low 15s pretty easily if kept completely stock.
Thanks.

I didnt think that there was a 220 hp version unless you are going by the fly number. I have the 190 hp version because it is the 5 speed. The auto came with the "peanut cam" and it has less hp than the 5 speed. I think that is the 170hp version. The car can run any where from high 14 which mine did to high 15's just depending on how well the car was taken care of. I have seen a 305 5 speed run 14.1 and that was stock. I think it was the driver in that case but that is one really nice number. Hope that helps.
