could you get a engine management system( harness and pcm) from a lt-1 MAF sys' and make it work on a TPI ? the major difference is odviously the ignition system ,and TB's but other that it cant much more, the o2 sensors read more acurately, the maf measures higher, and isnt it more adaptive? instead of burning chip after chip you could use lone of those flash programs like that ls-1 edit
or is this stupid? i ask this becuase , i know there is the ongoing debate between the third gen specific MAF and SD systems (please lets not rehash)
and then theres the DFI which isnt that essentialy the same as SD but better via the wide band 02.
i was just curious i didnt know if adapting an LT-1 pcm to a 3rd gen motor would reap any benefits.

WOW... thats a really good idea... i don't know a great amount about the lt-1 pcm. but wouldn't sensors bea big issue. the biggest one that comes to mind is the knock modual for a cam. how would all that work out??

Why wouldn't you just go with the whole LT1 setup? It is a much better intake, that isn't a secret.
thats true but what if we allready had a motor in our car like lets say a 355 with afr heads ,super ram, and all kinds of other goodies.... i know it would just be easier to just put DFI... but i'm looking at different alternatives thats all
