Well i recently picked up a mint 89 iroc 305 tpi 5 spd, when i'm driving though the rpms will keep climbing unless i give the gas pedal a quick tap, then they drop to normal right away.

i'm going to do a full tuneup tommorow, but i was wondering if this was something i might overlook. i'm thinking its either the iac, tps, or maybe just a throttle spring that needs to be lubed.

next time it happens tap on the mafs with something. If it goes away then get out the check book
