i pulled a 305 tpi from a wrecked 87 z28 and putting it into a 65 elcamino .
i will eventually put the tpi on it . does any body know if that motors cam have a lob on it to drive a mecanical fuel pump or must i run a electric fuel pump . im currently trying to keep cost down . any suggestions or ideas ?

A mechanical pump will not create enough pressure for fuel injection.
