I've heard all these codes referring to motors in third generation cars. What code would a 92 305 TPI be?

DAMN, I guess GM lied to me, someone must've retrofitted them after leaving the factory

Seriously, the only L98 to never make it into a thirdgen was the Aluminum-headed version the Corvettes got. The F-body L98's were identical except for a few small things (like plastic distributor covers, not aluminum live the 'Vette) and cast-iron heads.

You never had the LT1, LS1, LS6, LT4, or LT5 available in these vehicles. All of the talk about them in thirdgens are retrofit only. You had 305 and 350 TPI, 305 TBI, carbureted, and CFI(why?) among others.

I guess my Service Parts Identification (RPO list) sticker is some kind of a misprint than...... Oh wait, I guess ALL of my friends have screwed up Service Parts Identification stickers. There must have been some crazy guy swapping these stickers at the plant or something.........

Whatever.

You are wrong.

You won't see the LT5 designation on a factory 3rd gen or any other factory camaro that I know of. The LS1 didn't come with 3rd gens just the '98 and later 4th gens.

As stated above, L98 did come in the 3rd gen.
