Hey guys, im looking for a rough estimate to swap to tpi. I have a 383 w/ a t56 transmission in my 87 trans am. The guy who had the car before had a holley stealth ram on the car, but he removed it all and put a carb on it 
Ive had the car a year now and did alot of work (like t56 and ect), but im hating dealing with carbs and now its winter... I have really nothing to start with except for the knock sensor is still on the block. He gave me a PCM, but I believe its from a V6 car (not sure?). What would be the general cost to swap to tpi including a good aftermarket intake and ect? Thanks!

oh and it has a 60psi fuel pump already!

You can probably do it for $600. With a 383, your probably gonna want to modify the TPI to make it flow better. Then tune. All done your probably looking at 1K to convert it over.
To be honest, I would just run a HSR. With a TPI you will never see the potential of your motor.
Both of the swaps will probably be about the same dollar wise.

I agree leave it carb the tpi is very restictive
