Hi guys, been modding the LB9 over the past two years. Here is what I've done-

Bosch 19lb injectors
Air foil
Gutted airbox & K&Ns
Ported plenum
Throttle body bypass
TB Chips
Smog and AC delete
Ceramic coated hedman headers with (uncoated) matched Y pipe
Crane powermax 2032 cam with crane springs

I didn't install a AFPR with the cam.

I run a modified t5 gearbox (G Force case & pro shifter) and 3.73 gears.

She's quickish- 0-60mph in 6 secs but I mainly wondered what else I could do and whether a bespoke chip and AFPR would help? Any other ideas?

Re: Leaving bhp on the table?
I wouldnt worry about afpr and just work to do a custom tune. Can extract some power with a custom tune, so you will want to get into prom burning and buy some hardware

Re: Leaving bhp on the table?
Get some siamesed runners. I've heard good things about the SLP ones. See how lean or rich you are before you dish out the $60 for an afpr. I'm assuming the "throttle body bypass" is the coolant bypass mod? If you want a more responsive engine, run a shorter belt. My 305 had gutted air boxes, paper filters, and the smog and a/c pulleys removed, and I ran a shorter belt. 0-60 in 8s check my sig.

Clean car. Very nice.
Didi you have the heads pulled, any work done to get the 2032 installed?
Other then cam any other internal mods? port intake, heads?

Like others posted. A tune for sure. You are probably running rich/lean with the new cam and additional airflow. I bet you can tune and have much better tip-in, mid throttle response that will improve your 0-60

That's great thanks. No head work, just new springs and valve stems and the 2032.

I'm thinking rich/lean as I've had issues with heatsoak since the cam install. The started just doesn't play when its hot and it's new....

So tune then chip?
