I'd like to thank everyone on this board for the help they offered me by answering my questions while I was rebuilding my 700R4 transmission. This was my first auto trans rebuild and although the primary problem was a bad 3/4 clutch pack, I took the trans down to a bare case for a total rebuild. I got my parts from various sources, but for the interest of those on this website, I got the TransGo reprograming kit, Jr kit, & Corvette servo from Pro-Built. The bottom line on my trans is it works & shifts perfectly! Special thanks to Pro-Built & Trans Shift Leo ! After 6 weeks of working on this trans (time permiting) I'm going to clean my shop & award myself a "Hydro" merit badge. This was an interesting project. I just hope my son doesn't have anymore problems with his 88 GTA. Again, thanks to all.
