can i use an aftermarket bellhousing for my t56 ?

such as one of those explosion proof ones offered by lakewood and such companies

what if i go the junkyard route, what cars can i grab it from?

will a vette LT1 bellhousing work? or just f body LT1s?

You might want to call 'Red' at Mcleod, he was building a T-56 adaptable to pre-93 blocks. I dont know if he ever finished it or not, but it would be the only scattershield available if its done.

There is another company that casts their own bell housing to adapt a T-56, but I cant find the article to give you their name. It is a quality unit, but as I said it is cast. I guess my mission today is to find that article......

No the LT1 housing for the Vette/F-bodys is slightly different in length.

Hey Rick are you doing a swap with a LT1? Or are you still using the factory '90 powerplant?
