Im not sure if I am posting this in the right spot but, I am having a problem with my clutch. I just had the clutch replaced last August, and it seems to be out of adjustment or something. Can these clutches be adjusted or not? It is like when I am driving and I hammer it the engine gets real loud and the speed doesnt increase. Plus when I shift the clutch is almost let out all of the was before it catches. But there is no smell what so ever. It seems like it isnt releasing all the way because it still goes in to gear good. And the fluid level is good also. Any idea what could be the problem? Thanks, Todd

You could have a leak in the line or air in the line. It is probobly air in the line so you have to blead it on the slave cylinder.
my bellhousing has an adjustable pivot ball. This is stock on my bellhousing, however, most I have talked to do not have the same. In your case, you would have to back the pivot ball out...hope this helps
yes it is...I also find it interesting, when I first got the car done (motor swap and auto to manual conversion) the damn clutch would not disengage...finally I figured out that it had an adjustable pivot ball. I don't know what the belhousing is out of, but I do know the tranny is out of an 89 GTA.

almost all of the later bellhousings for manuals had an adjustable pivot ball.....it is extremely unlikely that this ever gets out of adjustment unless you change to a different style of clutch (long as opposed to a diaphram etc) or you use a different fork, or it could wear out but that doesnt happen very often.....there is more than likely a pressure problem if the car is hard to shift.....if the clutch is slipping then it is either defective, burnt, improperly seated, the flywheel is burnt, or its not bolted on tight (yikes!!) because there is no adjustment for the clutch on a hydraulic setup.
Also, the pivot ball being adjusted wrong is very unlikely to cause the clutch to slip, there really isnt enough adjustment in the pivot ball the make it push hard enough on the clutch to make it slip that bad
