can anyone tell me what is involved in a auto to t5 swap? i want to trade my auto for a t5 and i need to know .
1. how hard is it to hang the pedal's?
2.are the bolt holes already there?
3.do i need a new crossmember?
4.where does the fluid resivor go?
5.how do i hook up the reverse lights?
6.do i need new tourq arm mounts?
7.will it handle 400hp?
if there are threads you can send me too as welli will appreciate it

1. Not hard at all.
2. The pedal assembly mounts to the same studs/nuts that afix the brake booster to the firewall.
3. No.
4. It mounts on a little bracket by the booster.
5. Use the powered wire in the auto trans's harness to go to the 5 speed 's rev sw, and the re-use the rev light wire from the auto trans's harness. Same wires, you just need to clip them and attach a weather pack connector.
6. No.
7. Only if you treat it nice. If you drive like a tire smoking jack-***, it won't last.

My only suggestion is. Don't waist your time with used clutch hydraulics. Buy new ones. $40 per part at Advanced Autoparts or Napa. Trust me. It's a good investment. The drive shaft is the same and everything pretty much bolts up.

Check the schros if you get a used one before you install it. They are cheap to replace yourself.

6. yes/no you need a different bracket to work with the t-5 but the actual rubber bushing or polyurthane if you choose is the same! I found this out the hard way when I was doing mine.
