KYB-2 Question

I'm in the middle of doing my rearend swap. I picked up a pair of KYB-2 shocks, and I've already bolted them in, but I'm not sure which side of them to bolt to the axle. It's got threads on both sides of the shock...I think I should use the one with the bigger nut, and no metal piece on the inside end of the bolt... Anyone who's installed these know what I'm talking about and have an answer? Thanks

*EDIT* hmm...I meant to post this in the suspensions/brakes section...Could a mod move it please?

If they are anything like my KYB Gas-A-Just shocks, then there should be a little stud that slips through the eye in the shock. Push that through the shock and then tighten it down with a nut and lock washer. Then put the other end into the rear and bolt it in...

Yeah, but which end attaches the rear axle? The two ends aren't the same, one has an extra thing on the end that meets the bushing on the shock...Kind hard to describe.

Hey, thanks for the offer, but I got it done this afternoon. After looking at it for a while, I figured it out. Thanks again.
