My daughter and I bought an '82 Z/28 from an overgrown up yard. Runs good but the tranny slips, I figure a filter and fluid change will help.
Our problem is that the previos owner said it had a 700R4, but the pan looks the same as a TH350 I have in a '65 short wide, although the casing apears slightly different,..(.probably the year model difference.)
Is the 700R4 pan the same as a TH350? I have been to other forums and never recieved any reply. Please help us get Rebecca's first car on the road. :hail:

Check the site below and you should be able to tell what it is by the pan.

Well couldnt you just tell by how many gears it shifts into if its only 3 then its a th350 and if it shifts into overdrive then i would assume its a 700r4
