I want to put a rearend off of either a 87-92 z28 camaro to get posi trac and rear disc brakes. Everytime I look up brake packages some say w/ 1LE perf. pack. or w/o 1LE perf. pack. Can anybody tell me the differences and which ones I would need to get???

with 1LE means the sway bar is bigger and rotors are bigger. Without is the production size sway bar and rotor. I think the 1LE came with dual piston calipers too. I am not positive. I have only seen one in person and that was years ago.

1LE makes no difference at all to the rear brakes.

I have a 92 B4C which has 1LE brakes, and I can guarantee you, the rear brakes on a 1LE car are pretty much the same as any PBR disc brake rearend. Maybe they had different pads, or different part numbers or whatever from the factory. But when I checked em out to compare 1LE vs Z28 I found that the rear calipers are both the same PBR calipers, and the rotors/bolts/carriers are interchangable. At my local parts store the part numbers are the same to service either setup. After taking both apart with my own hands, it does not appear to me that the 1LE option has any sort of special rear brakes. The front brakes and proportioning valve, now thats a different story. Those are definately different.

No, it doesn't. Every single one of those so-called 1LE-rear brake parts is found on absolutely every other 89+ disc brake car.
