Just as the title states. How much HP can the Hurst or B&M bracket really take?
Who has one and is running some quick numbers?
I am especially interested in low 60' time cars.

i believe 10.90 street car is running one. so i'd say 10.90 in a street car.....although you do risk snapping a tailshaft when you get into higher torque numbers off the line with traction. a better choice is always a torque arm that mounts to the floor or trans crossmember

exactly. If you're truly interest in good 60' times, then you shouldn't even be considering a trans mounted tq arm.a better choice is always a torque arm that mounts to the floor or trans crossmember
