Ok, my 700R4 somewhat died after I broke a few teeth off of my ring gear. I had a really bad vibration the entire way home, after I replaced the rear end, my tranny went. Could they be related? What is the tv cable and what does it do? My tranny only has reverse and first gear, only if I put the shifter into 1st. Thanx.

the tv cable is like a throttle position sensor for your tranny. it helps the trans "decide" when to shift, so it shifts later when you hammer the gas and earlier when you are just cruising.
