Well my 700r4 transmission needs to be replaced and I would like to know what transmission company is reputable or one that people have good luck from. I see monster transmission has reasonable prices, and so does bowtie overdrives but I can't develop an opinion yet. Let me know what you guys think.

I would like to go with a t56 but it seems like the total cost would come to around 3k with a used tranny

T56 with used tranny is around 1500-2200 at most

And search around about the best, I have seen so many threads on different companies about 700r4's or even the 4L80

if you want THE best 700r4 get one from dana at probuilt automatics... his transmissions are legendary.... trust me... it may be a little bit more than others but. spend a little more do it right the first time... you get what you pay for.... there are too many problems with the 700r4... dana will always get my business when it comes to 700r4s
