I'm new to this site and had a question for my first engine tranny swap. The engine is a 2 bolt 2pc rear main 350 stroked to a 383 with an Eagle crank. I was wondering if it still required the special centerforce flywheel to mate it to the lt1 transmission? Thanks

Subbed. I'm currently running the very same engine with more upgraded internals and thinking about swapping my 5 for a 56.

Yup, the bolt pattern requires it...2pc rear main
Now all you need to know is, is it internally or externally balanced. They come both ways, gotta figure out which you have.
It's externally balanced. Is that going to cause a major problem with the centerforce wheel?

Not if you get the external balance one.
