torque arm bracket?

My 89 with t5 is missing the left part of the actual bracket. My local junk yard has two thirdgens although both at auto. From what I've read there's a difference between the brackets. Any Chance ID Be Able To Use THE Left part From the car?

Re: torque arm bracket?

AFAIK the outer piece is the same, but I could easily be wrong.

You will still have to deal with the direction the "W" faces. Any bracket you get at the yard may or may not match your TA in that respect.

I'm curious though; how did that part come to be "missing"?

Well I got the car as a roller and pulled the drive train from another. The peice I have is the part that mounts to the tranny.
