I have an 82 Camaro with a useless 200c. I want to swap in a th350.
As far as this beaten horse is concerned, I just spend an hour searching the threads and I came up with 4 conclusions:
1. B&M 30299 is discontinued
2. UPI costs $259
3. find a used or NOS kit on ebay
4. fabricate my own
Is there any new or better options available? please let me know. Thank you for your time.

4.
Just create a strong bracket off the cross-member and weld it on so the torque arm bracket bolts to it.
As long as the torque arm is mounted in the right place, it will work fine. And getting it off the transmission makes mounts last longer / they don't need to be poly.

Thankyou very much! Should be a piece of cake! or should I say TIG...
