Info needed. I pulled a laser line from center of rear end to the center of the front end and I noticed that the cross member bolt hole is center with tranny mount but the tranny tail and drive shaft isn't . Is this a factory assembly on my 92 firebird 5.0 TBI T5 tranny . Any info would be greatly appreciated

Re: Driveline alignment
The engine is offset to the passenger side to clear the steering assembly, 1-1.5" or so. So none of the driveline is parallel with the car

86TA - In reference to the motor being off set and your comment about the driveline not being parallel to body. When viewing from back of the car, should the tires/rear differential not be centered in the car? Thx byron

86TA - additionally, is there an angle? (- or +) I believe that the driveshaft should be? Right to left and tailshaft to rear spline? Thx byron
