Hey guys. I'm purchasing the DSE 9" rear end housing, wich measures 61.125 flange to flange. Can guys tell me what a 3rd gen rear end measurement is, flange to flange?
Believe it or not, they don't have that measurement inhouse. I looked up a few numbers online but I don't trust it. I'm hoping someone here has a unit laying around that they can measure for me.

A brief search of any vendor such as Summit for direct-fit axles for our cars yields an axle length of 30-5/16". Multiply by 2, add the thickness of the cross pin, there ya go. 60-5/8" plus the ¾" or so of the cross pin, plus a bit of slop that they always have in there if you wanna measure em when they're pulled all the way out. So yeah, 61-1/8" is pretty close.
Thank you for that!
