this is one that i could use some other head scratcher problem solvers input on. ok-this is intermittent-very- see sig for the vehicle in question-occasionally on take off\last time it was during a fry run testing boost, though, i step on the gas and give er 3/4 pedal-kind of working the motor, and the transmission-i think-seems to stop transmitting power thru it to the d-shaft, and what i get is a fairly violent shudder and noise, dont know how i have lifted throttle fast enough, followed by a normal re-engagement of power flow thru the trans. as if nothing has happened. i believe it happens in 2nd gear but the car will spin all 4 gears if punched from a standstill, i have been unable to verify 2nd gear only maybe it happens going 1-2 upshift or 2-3 up. i know that dosent help narrow it much but any input is welcome-i have studied exploded views of 700 and it seems that all power is transmitted thru the front sprag 1st thru 3 anyhow-could this "let go" under load and re-engage when the load is off/shouldnt it just grenade the one time it lets go? thanx frank

I'm by no means a tranny expert, but start simple: How's your tranny fluid level/condition? Wish I could help more, but you read the first line of this reply.
