Zoinks Scooby , Them's musta been some mighty BAD Scooby snacks !
So , whats the oil (and transmission fluid if it's an automatic) look like ?Transmission fluid is still great. Oil needs changed but nothing in it. Just black.
I need to get a temp gauge instead of a dummy light. I have yet to see dummy light up.

When Was The Last Time It Was Drained And Flushed.
September. Flexplate busted, radiator hose blew, heater control valve busted, waterpump gave in, and the speedo cable all snapped on the way to work. Water pump was the final piece installed. I feel like this car doesn't like me.
So I've been advised of another possibility. I'm not sure how relevant it is because it was in a 2001 ss. She said the problem was getting power steering fluid in the radiator via a power steering cooler. I dont remember ours even touching the radiator but i could be wrong. its been a while since i was under the car. how possible is this idea?

the power steering coolers arent internal to the radiator like the transmission cooler.
i'd do a basic flush, then a good cheap cleaner is dump a gallon of vinegar in there, top off with water, drive it around and get it nice and hot,...flush again. vinegar is cheap, biodegradable, and does a great job of cleaning.
