I have a set of ZR1 Wheels from a 98 SS from what the guy told me, I just got some 275/40/17's for it, I get mixed opinions on wheel adaptor sizes. Can i rock 2" wheel adaptors all around or do i need anything special, These are the 17x9 Version.
Thanks guys!

Same wheels here. they are advertized 17x9" But from what I hear they are actually 9.5".
Here is a couple of them on my 87.
1.75" spacer with C5 Z06 Brakes. (adds 0.300) So a 2" will give perfect fitment on a stock car.
The rear has a 4th gen rear which is around 1 5/8 - 2" wider per side

Added a pic of it more slammed to show it tucks the wheel in

Perfect, thats exactly what i thought from research, thanks for confirming!
2" all around should do the trick then.

Those will do the trick. I have ebay ones on the front of mine as wheel.

If they were a 17x9.5 you would need a 2.25" spacer. I run a 2" spacer on mine plus the thickness of an LS1 rotor (.300") for a total 2.3" and it's right on top of the tie rod end and the strut. there is almost zero clearance there. So if you were able to run 2" total, then clearly those are narrower, or 17x9.Originally Posted by Jay_rich

Just my 2 cents... I liked the adapters I got from lugs-n-stuff (on ebay) the best. You can get hubcentric ones for the rear that will fit perfectly from them.
I clear all my stuff with 2" all around. so they are truely 17x9's then.

Just for the sake of clarity, Corvette ZR1's are 17x9.5 and 17x11, the F-body ZR1's are all 17x9, so that fits what you said originally. Also I think your front tire is on backwards. Originally Posted by silentkillzr
