Globalwest torque arm

I hope it works as good as it looks. The front mount is bolted under the trans cross member and the plate with the four holes is for the drive shaft loop so that will give you a scale for how long the torque arm is.

So where does that other plate attach to? I see what you were talking about last Sat.
That other plate is on one side only. Won't that tweek the lift of the car to that side only.

Oh yeah, I see Kevins new manifold there too.

Dwayne,
The other plate bolts to the floor and is attached to the tube that runs to the crossmember. So it shouldn't tweak the lift of the car to one side. Notice the bushing in the middle, IIRC the GW arm is 2 separate pieces attached at the bushing.

Jerry,
Can you adjust the pinion angle?

Yes you can but you have to remove the two rear bolts to do it.

That is a nice product! I have been thinking about getting a BMR, but I like the Global West...... I am looking into making the car take corners more so than drag racing. How much are the GW torque arms? You said you could go in with cash, e-mail me if you don't want to post it here... Thanks.

The intake still needs more work done before it's ready to bolt on.

Awesome Setup...

But won't this make changing the Jets a bit difficult?

Yes the nitrous and fuel jets for this stage will be under the intake so it's set at 175 hp and not needed to be adjusted. The dual stage system on top of the intake is very easy to tune with a stage set at 50 hp and one set at 100 hp that will total 325 hp if all of them are used at the same time.

Jerry,
What do you think about the progressive Nos units that use large solenoids and you use one set of jets but the system regulates the solenoids for an "easy" into it Nos hit?

Your playing with a lot of juice. I like the hidden stuff though. Looks like you can anyways have a job as a plumber.

Also, did you have to add material because of the heads you'll be running or ?????

I don't like progressive units. The solenoids used for nitrous systems today are a on-off type valve and have problems when you try to make them open and close at a high rate. The best setup is to stage the amount of nitrous needed.

The main reason the fogger setup was installed under the intake is to make more room for more systems on top of the intake.

The intake had a real problem when i bolted it to my heads you had a good view of the pushrods so to make the intake gasket seal it needed some weld time. Now if i can just find some time to do the finish cuts it will be done.

Jerry

I thought the progressive systems came with special solenoids that can handle the pulsing.

Have you guys seen the new NOS direct port kits?

The NOS nozzles simply pop into the injector ports on the manifold, then you pop the injectors into the nozzles. Instant direct port nitrous. The kit also uses flexible tubing for easy plumbing. It looks like a sweet kit.

I've seen them advertised and there was some discussion over in the power adder board.
So far all the advertisements say that they do not restrict the injector flow but I sceptical. I would also worry about the seals going from hot manifold temps to freezing cold to hot again. How long can the seals and maybe the injector tips take that?

I also don't think they'll fit under a Super Ram. A mini ram or that Holley thang for sure.

I do like the flexable hoses though.

yeah he is for sure

going a diffrent route than what we would use for our set up's Dwayne. And as for me using Nos with Vortec's I donno how they would do with em. Probably not a good idea. Just stay all motor and see what I can pull. Peice by peice day by day, it's getting closer.
