Instead of the corvette convertor you wnat to get the 95 S-10 V6 convertor. I cannot find the part number right now, but if you look on the trans board you should be able to find it. I was looking into the same thing you are, but I have decided to just save up for the vigilante.

after reading this post, i've decided that i'll be getting the S10 TC this month when i go to throw my 400 in. much less expensive route than a B&M and more practical, seeing i wont be racing it all the time. thanks!

Does the DACCO vette converter work pretty well?
Also did you have to order it or what? I am looking to get something better than my stocker. But on a budget.

How do I go about getting one of the Dacco converters? I guess I will have to take the hit on the core since it wouldn't be worth sending one all the way to FL.
If its got you in the 12s and with nitrous I think I will give it a try. Is this the website for them I suppose?

yes it is. call the 800 number for the nearest dealer. then call them and ask for the b29db converter this part number is for the 30 spline model. i think b15db is the earlier (82-84) 27 spline model.
