setting fuel pressure

Ok i've read how to set fuel pressure

1) connect fuel pressure gauge
2) disconnect vacuum line
3) twist *** direction desired
4) plug vacuum line in
5) remove fuel pressure gauge

my only question is after i do that next time i look under the hood the little screw is all the way down again is it supposed to be like that i mean is it something to do with the vacuum i have no idea any help is good help thanks

I'm not quite sure how a screw can move up and down by itself without turning it. If you can explain that, maybe I can help. AFAIK, the screw on your AFPR should not move after you set it.

Try using a small dab of locktite on the adjusting screw to lock your fuel pressure in place. It seems weird that your fuel pressure regulator is doing this.
