After going through my entire ignition today trying to find the reason for a dead cylinder, I decided to pop off a valve cover and take a peek. Wow what a surprise! I noticed the bottom area is machined out larger, so I am checking to see if I can go up to dual springs, although these are supposedly good to .510" lift I can't trust them. Hopefully the seat wasn't damaged.

It's the springs that come with the TrickFlow 23 degrees, I have no idea what brand they are but i'll be sure not to get the same ones!

Glad you were lucky too! It didn't do any damage to mine either. I just had them off to change valve covers when I noticed it!
