i wanna get a shift kit, and i was leaning toward this one.....

yeh all i have heard was good things about this kit. i wanna put one in, but i kinda wanna wait till the warranty runs out.

okay, now i'm curious... how easy is this to put in? what does it buy you - just quicker shifts?

its pretty easy to do one of these. it gives you quicker firmer shifts and extends the life of your tranny, so they say.

I just put the kit in, see my other post. The instructions are a little confusing. write down each step in sequence on another piece of paper. Make at least two copies of the original instgructions. and check off each step as you do it. take your time dont take short cuts, double check holes before you drill them or plug them. identify each part as to which step it belongs to. You will have extra parts so can really confuse you, becuse it looks like you forgot something. put old parts in a bag with a paper identifying where it came from.
