Nice run and times and all.

But no offense, I have seen dozens of ricers and fords etcc... break into the 12s on big enough shot of N2O.

So at the end of the day, until you are doing it NA it aint all that impressive.

Heck I am sure i could put a big enough shot on N2O on my stock L98 motor and broke 11s, and then after a couple runs watched the motor break itself.

you talk a lot of $hit for being a lil puss. If you really think that it is so esay to just spray a 305 with a 125 shot of N2O and go run 12.4 @ 3075 ft altitude then why haven't more people done it? I guess it don't matter.

some FYI for you I'am building a motor that will be running 12's on all on it's self with no help from boost of nos., if you really think that it is so much more impressive.


I just think that it is impresive that i beat your time with alot less money spent on the hole car then most people spend on a set of heads alone and ran a 12.4 on a 305 at SIR with old school carb and you had to go dump alot of money on your car and ran 12.5 at firebird. EXACTLY!!! I'm just trying to get a race out of him, ask all my friends, this is how I "work" my magic. Its retarded that omnious wants to turn this into a big long character debate, how bout a nice big cup of STFU, and lets just frigg'n race already.

I WILL be towing my car to firebird sometime late August, but I'd prefer to hit him up for a street race in Tucson earlier than that because we have a spot out here that would be perfect. What do you say people?? Lets organize this shizzle.

I can read well enough to know that your car is probably faster than mine, but that doesn't change the fact that you don't have a full pass on a timeslip (regardless of a broken tranny). No biggie though, I am sure we will get to see that at Firebird, in August. I think it will be a great race between you both and look forward to seeing it.

Oh, if the guy with the sprayed 305 wants to come up with you, I will be more than willing to run him on the street (can't pass tech). Unfortunately, my EFI needs some additional tuning yet, but even if that doesn't happen before August, I will still run him...no excuses.

If we can set up a few more races we can have Phoenix vs. Tucson "shoot-out." It may be broken up between the street and the track, but I think we can make this work. Then when all is said and done, we can enjoy a few beers somewhere.

I like that sound of that "Tucson VS Phoenix shot out" I love to streetrace and drink beer I am going to try and make it up to phoenix with chris when he goes up there but that is not going to happen tell august so it is too soon to say what I am going to do.

I have a 385ci motor that is similar to Omnious87, except for a smaller cam, but a little more compression. It dynoed a weak 300rwhp and 366ft/lbs on the stock fuel pump starving for more fuel. I believe the A/F ratio was near 16 to 1. I put a Walboro in and the car is definitely faster, but I still need some help with tuning it since it is a SD car.

I have a complete nitrous kit that is a combination of NOS and NitrousExpress parts, but I am looking to sell the NOS plate system, so that I can upgrade my exhaust, again. I also have a ported upper plenum, edelbrock runners and base that I want to get rid of too.

 

Nah, it was just a lifter. He'll be running again soon.

We just happen to know someone looking for a TPI nitrous plate system.... but he doesn't have a phone. :lala:

A few more specifics about my plate system...I am the second owner of this kit and have never used it. The kit has only 6 bottles that went through it before it was taken off my friends car and sold to me. It has all the basic kit components (plate, jets, two solenoids, 10lb bottle w/mounting brackets, activation switch and braided lines).

I want to get $300.00 for this kit.

 

Sounds like a pretty good setup what do you expect to run with all that? I should have my car back together when i get back from virgina and would love to race you.

I haven't had the car at the track yet, but I know that the car will run somewhere around 12.7 - 12.9. When the car is tuned, I hope to see low to mid 12s...who knows what it will do when I eventually put the bottle to it.

I raced an 89 GT, H/C/I that ran 12.9s and I was able to pull two - three cars on him just before 100mph. This was from a 40mph roll.

I left him so badly from a stop that there wasn't any point in continuing the first race, eventhough he was M/T slicks and I was on drag radials.
