hello!

i have been putting my 83 recaro back together in the uk and have had the recaro door handle graphics re-manufactured.
i have had more than one set made,so if you would like a spare set for your car please let me know.
the cost will be £15 gbp or around $28 us (depending on exchange rate)plus shipping.
as soon as i have picked them up i will post some photos.they have been made to original spec. using an original handle as a pattern.

hope this gets some recaro restorations finished!!

sounds silly but i sold my lotus esprit to buy it!! always wanted one from when i was a kid

 

holy crap man, you must really love em

 

the esprit was great,but you cant get the kids in the back and you are always waiting for the thing to break down.
the trans am is just a lot easier to live with!!
fuel is a downside tho. cost about $8us a gallon at the moment and seems to go up all the time.

 

$8 a gallon!!?? Thats f**king insane.Here its like $1.86 a gallon.

the goverment puts approx 80% tax on fuel...........gotta love them.

 

Nice Recaro, is that car a daily driver for you?

I hear that pretty much everyone in Europe drives an econobox because the cost of gas is so insanely high. I guess it makes parking easier, and no lumbering soccer-mom-driven SUVs on the road, but Lord help you if you need a truck or SUV for anything.

 

the cost of fuel in europe is a little less then the uk,everyone seems to drive a diesel or a petrol which is no bigger than 2000cc.
saying that tho there is a thriving american car scene in the uk,i have an 85 corvette as well and even tho it costs a fortune to run i cant imagine not having one around!!
trust me the cost of living over here in the old world sucks ***.

I would like to buy a pair but would like to see pics first. I have an 82 Recaro not all stock 1 door handle is ok but the other was bad
would be great to get a good pair. Also is this just the decal on the back of the clear raised plastic because the clear plastic piece is cracked on one of mine.

they will be exactly the same as stock, gold letters on black background and raised curved plastic with self adhesive backing
the company that is making them is a specialist in exactly this type of decal and they have assured me they will be a match.
i am picking them up next week,so as soon as i get them i will get some pictures up!!!
i was in the same boat as you and just could not find handles or a set of decals anywhere!!

What are the odds of getting some that say "Fuel Injecton" for the Crossfire Trans Am's?

 

if you can get me a sample i could get them made.the minimum run is 50, but it works out better value to get a hundred made.

Sounds like exactly what I want my car isnt all stock but it still has the Recaro seats and they are in good condition the deacals would add alot to making the car look stock. I got a new stripe, the one that separates the gold and black havent put it back on not.. until I get new paint job. Every rust spot on the car was under the stripe. I will be watching for the pics. Also if I can figure out how to do it I will put some pics of my Recaro T/A on the site.

 

i should be picking them up mid week,so as soon as i have them i will get the pictures up.

Got the decals in the mail Saturday they are awsome!!! look like the OEM factory ones probably looked like when they were new.
I am no way going to put them on the door handles that are on the car now , I am going to put them on new handles.
