Thinking of making a Calender

I might possibly make a calendar soon. I’m not sure if I’m going to make just one for myself or make them to sell to members here, and also on my website. Whatever I do, here is the pictures I want to use. They are just some of the pics that I have collected that I think are good cars, but also good photographs.

Why I am posting is. I’m wondering if any of the owners of these cars would mind if I did this. I would of course give them a free copy of the calendars if I decide to sell some.
Also if any of the owners would want to help my out it would be GREAT if you had any copies of this pics but larger

I have copies of some big enough but ones I need Larger are FlyinLow’s, Jobryans (sp?) Blue 502’s CarNdrvr’s, Blue T/A from Cascade Crew (name slipped my mind), White T/A if anyone knows whos it is, Camaro with the plane, and the red convertible.

Yeah Im not out to make a profit on it if I sell it. Maybe a couple dollars. Just basically enough to cover the copying and binding of it.

What will make my decision if I sell them or not is the price per calender because I have to get high quality 2 sided color copies made, then get each calender bound together.

I'll update everyone on what I do/dont do.

whats the biggest size you have. I just want some size so its not all blocky getting printed at 8x10 or 8 1/2"x11. Im sure nothing over 1280x1024. Smaller then that would work, just nothing bigger.

if ya got anything E-mail it to me

Also have alot of good ones in the snow if you need a dec.

Only thing is I can't post them here because the smallest ones are above 200k

and also if its a dig. camera take them on the best quality, or if your scanning them, scan at a high resoulution.

86FyrBrd,
Yes, you may use my car for the calendar. Thank you for thinking that my photographic skills are good enough to make the calendar.

If you want to use that shot of my Camaro that you posted, I can give it to you in any size you want (up to the original 9MB file size). Let me know the dimensions and resolution you want, and I can send it to you. Someone mentioned somewhere this pic as a good candidate for December or January:

If you would like that instead, let me know. I can email it to you in anysize you want as well.

Thanks for considering my car worthy

Just have to check into costs for copying and binding.

Hey man, I responded to your PM too...

Anyways, here is the pic you requested in the message.. roughly 420kb full size. This is one of my favorite pics of the hundreds and hundreds Ive taken.

I think the idea of having the persons name, and location and a short description of the car/area where the pic was taken would be really great. And if you wanted a "group of thirdgens" for one month, I have a really sweet pic of the Cascade Crew cars taken at our gathering 2 weekends ago.

Didnt you send me a few pics...one snow covered, One in your driveway, and I forget what the others (if there were any) are.

Or do you mean I just didnt contact you back to say I was going to actually use them

I have most of the pics chosen and 8 months all ready printed, My biggest obstacle will be getting quality copies made of them so that will be my project for the next few days.

jobryan, make that second one bigger and I'll see what it looks like, depends how it prints.

un4given, It wont be done before then anyway, post your pics and we'll see if I like it. If its good enough I can even bump someone maybe. All depends on the pics.

Jim85, I am using your one pic, Nice Pictures!

I'm glad you got them. Hopefully the color is ok. I adjusted the color in Photoshop and they look different in everything else.

Instead of the September: Blue502 and also in jan. Maybe flyinLow in september????

Also, have you decided if you wanted to make them to sell or just one for yourself. I'd like to buy two (girlfriend wants one as well) if you decide to sell them to us.

Hey Brian, what pic of your car are you doing?

Also, are you still going to do the short info idea I had for the bottom?

And, as of now, how many Birds and how many camaros are in for sure?

in my opinion you should use each car only once and use 12 different cars through out the calender. I think it would just be a better calender that way instead of seeing the same car you saw in january again in august.

Yeah, I wasn't trying to get my car in there twice, I was trying to give FyrBrd a choice. One or the other would be my preference, but he is the one making them, and the choice of cars is his. FlyinLow definately has a beautiful car that would look nice on my wall.
